LAST NIGHT, IT was revealed that Eva Mendes considers sweatpants the “number one cause of divorce” in the US, and women everywhere panicked.

In an interview with a US magazine, the actress said the secret to a long-lasting marriage was ditching the tracksuit:

Sweatpants, no, no, no, no. No, no, you can’t do sweatpants. Ladies, number one cause of divorce in America is sweatpants. No, you can’t do that.

Though Mendes appeared to be joking, people grew anxious. Will throwing out the tracksuit guarantee us true love, Eva? WILL IT?

Many people also worried that their dream guy Ryan Gosling, who Mendes has been dating for years, isn’t as chill as he appears to be:
